A study of Finnish women showed that the lowest rates of breast cancer were associated with the highest amount of lignans. Each capsule contains 50 mgs of standardized, isolated and purified SDG lignan from flax seed, equivilant to 30-50 grams of whole flaxseed or 10-13 tablespoons of "high lignan" flax oil. This the first product of its kind and is the result of eight years of collaboration between leading universities, research institutes, and the private sector.
