Look Younger, Feel Happier, and Be More Productive in 2009
It's a new year, and there's an awful lot of change in the air. Most of it is going to wind up being for the good, I'm sure of that. And if weight loss has been on your "to do" list for as long as you can remember, why not make this the year you really make "change" a true part of your life?
I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce you to my Diet Boot Camp program. Though many of you know about it- and have done it (and have written me wonderful letters about the difference it's made in your lives) many of you are new to my newsletter and may not know what "Diet Boot Camp" is about.
The Diet Boot Camp program is the closest thing to having me as your own personal coach:
Diet Boot Camp is the next closest thing to having me show up at your front door for an eight week visit!
This empowering home study course is 13 years in the making and is based on my personal coaching program. It's a comprehensive plan for life change, not just weight. It's filled with specific information about which foods to eat and which to avoid, a step by step and week-by-week exercise program, and motivational nourishment that can help you break through your barriers and achieve more than you ever thought possible.
This is the perfect time to try Diet Boot Camp. I've bundled it with over $100 in free bonuses (which includes free UPS shipping). If you try Diet Boot Camp for 90 days and decide it didn't meet your expectations then I'll refund 100% of your money (but you can still keep the bonuses).

- Imagine having me by your side at the grocery store to help you know what to get and what to avoid.
- What if I could stand in your kitchen and show you how to throw together quick and healthy meals?
- How much easier would it be if I was there at the gym with you, showing you what to do next?
- Could you hang in there a little longer if I was encouraging you every step of the way?

Dr. Bowden,
I am a huge fan of your work. I didn't know where else to type my question so I apologize if this comment seems out of place.
I am currently taking ACcutane. I have run the gammit of treatments both topical and internal. This was the last resort. Unfortunately I am unable to take any vitamins that contain Vitamin A or Beta Carotene. I am a big fan of taking my vitamins and feel lost when I don't.
Can you recommend a supplement program? My hair and nails are becoming dry and brittle. I've read that B-Complex and Biotin are a good start.
However, I would like to know what you think.
Any information you can provide me will be greatly appreciated. The more comprehensive the better.
Respectfully,
Ryan Woods

hi Ryan
I assume you're taking it for acne-
Biotin and B complex are excellent places to start, plus DEFINITELy omega-3 fish oils (try the Barlean's high potency brand on my site)-
i'd very strongly recommend a book by Professor Loren Cordain, PhD called "the Dietary Cure for Acne". He's done a ton of research in this area. You can google the book or go to www.dietaryacnecure.com

Do you have any tips for subaceous prominence. Thanks
Dr. Bowden,
You are correct. I am taking Accutane for the purpose of alleviating acne. I appreciate your recommendation.
Do you happen to do phone consults? I saw a few local nutritionist in the hopes of putting together a comprehenive supplement list based upon my particular lifestyle. Unfortunately, it seems as though nutritionists in my area have about as much knowledge as an editor from Men's Health. I read a fair amount of literature myself so I would like to be educated by someone who is at the top of their profession.
The information you offer your reader's is top notch and it would mean a great deal to me if I could speak with you about a supplement program.
I have no idea what you charge. I understand that you are an extrememly busy man so if this is not a realistic option I understand.
Respectfully,

Hi Ryan
No I don't do indivdual consults any more. You might try my associate Susan Mudd, MS at susanmudd@comcast.net

Dr. Bowden,
Thank you so much for your recommendation on Dr. Cordain's book The Dietary Cure For Acne. I must admit I am floored that my acne is manageable now. I have been adhering to the dietary advice outlined in his book since 02.01.2009. I still have an occasional breakout, however it's nothing like it was.
It amazes me how every dermatologist I've been to has dismissed a link between the two.
I know this is an unrelated question. I have been reading a lot of Charles Poliquins literature. He references your work a lot and seems to hold your opinions in very high regard. I have been working out religiously for a few years now and wanted to know what you would consider the bare essentials for gaining lean mass. (now that I have my diet in check of course)
Charles has pages of supplements and different reasons for using them. I wanted to know if you could suggest a few necessities as I cannot afford to take everything.
BCAA's, Glutamine, Arginine, Taurine...
I appreciate your time and advice Dr. Bowden.
Respectfully,
Ryan Woods
