A Charity You Will Love and An Easy Way to Give!
I'm always delighted when I find a cause that all my friends (and readers) can get behind, regardless of their politics, religion or beliefs. And this year I found a doosey.
As you probably know, thousands of veterans have been returning from overseas horribly disabled, many with missing limbs, many paralyzed and many with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Regardless of politics, I think we can all agree these brave heroes deserve the best treatment and care once they return home. Sadly, they don't always get it.
Recently I read about the most amazing organization- it's called NEADS- Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans. They have a special program called Canines for Combat Veterans. I read absolutely heart-warming, inspirational stories of how they've placed service dogs in the homes of people who can no longer walk, who are terribly crippled by PTSD, or have other issues related to their service to our country.
In many cases these wonderful dogs literally allow these wonderful folks to get their life back. Please watch this 7 minute video to see what I mean
For the month of December, 15% of all profits from all sales made on this website will be donated to Canines for Combat Veterans. So any vitamins, supplements, DVDs, CDs, e books, etc that you buy will help support this wonderful service.
So know that this month, part of any money you spend on this website will also help support to this wonderful cause.
If you'd like to read more about what they're doing you can read this New York Times story. I think you'll find it as moving and inspiring as I did.
